AmbientSoup: Exhibition series #1
AmbientSoup is starting a new exhibition series where works from different artists who are a part of audio/visual projects and installations will find its place under the label’s platform. Different collaborations between festivals and art organisations are opening new chances for the artists so that their works would get widely heard and archived.
Terranigma - Mreža
The music was created for the project Mreža by Beam Team (Stella Ivšek and Anja Romih), Aleš Zupanec, Črt Trkman (production Svetlobna gverila @ Strip Core / Forum Ljubljana) Ljudmila Society - Laboratory for Science and Art, consortium osmo/za).
Exhibition description:
The Mreža project is signed by a group of creators who tested their harmony during last year's mentorship at the Svetlobna Gverila Laboratory. This time, they present an authorial interactive installation that explores the perceptual loops of auditory and visual reality. The fullness of the performance is ensured by a mapped video projection, supported by sound and an electronic interface that enables the interactive generation of audiovisual content. The key is, of course, the viewer, who, by moving through the grid in space, triggers various states of virtual reality, followed by a huge animated eye - the central element of the installation, which with its threatening grotesqueness evokes many dystopian associations.

Nitz - Platonova Telesa
The music was created for the Platonova telesa (Plato's Body) AV project, designed by the Beam Team (Stella Ivšek and Anja Romih) and Aleš Zupanec (produced by Svetlobna gverila @ Strip Core / Forum Ljubljana and Ljudmila). The project is part of EASTN-DC Network, which is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.

Exhibition description:
The audio-visual performance was held in the industrial setting of the Old Town Power Pant in Ljubljana. It was centered around the object - an icosahedron, which summarizes the shape and symbolism of one of the five platonic bodies. Originally, the “Plato’s Bodies'' project was developed as an interactive AV installation for the Svetlobna Gverila Festival (Light Guerrilla Festival), and was presented in the form of a performance. The entire surface of the icosahedron thus becomes a continuous whole, in which the projections of the three video projectors merge. Their driving force is the sound or musical output of the performing musicians. The elements of light that illuminate the junctions of the projection surfaces are moderated by a fourth visual artist, who dictates the color of the projections with visual triggers (triggers) and illustrates the musical tempo.
The elements for the performance were created as part of meetings of the community of visual artists and musicians during the Light Guerrilla Laboratory, which was co-produced by the Ljudmila Society, the Laboratory for Science and Art and the Strip Core / Forum Ljubljana.
